At Barclays, Apprenticeships are a practical way to start or restart your career. Whether you're just out of school, returning to work, or changing direction, we’ll support you with proper training, a permanent role, and the chance to grow.
From your first day, you’ll be earning a salary, working towards a recognised qualification (up to degree level), and doing real work — like speaking to customers, learning how payments are processed, or helping teams stay organised. You’ll be part of a team, surrounded by people who want you to succeed.
With over 15 years of experience running Apprenticeships, we know how to help you build skills that last. You don’t need to take the traditional route to build a future you’re proud of.
Foundation apprenticeships
If you have GCSE’s or similar, you can join our 2-year programme working towards professional qualifications equivalent to two A-Levels. You’ll be a full-time employee from day one, which means you don’t have to apply for a job with us at the end: you’ll already have one.
Higher apprenticeships
If you have A-Levels or similar, you can earn a salary while we help you gain a degree qualification (or university-level equivalent) as well as up to 4 years real work experience, so you can build an extraordinary career at Barclays.
