BUK brings together Retail Banking, Business Banking, Customer Care, Customer & Digital and BUK Centre, giving you exposure across customers, products, technology, data, commercial strategy, risk and transformation. This breadth helps you understand how modern banking creates value and gives you the opportunity to discover where your strengths can make the greatest impact.
The future of banking belongs to people who can combine digital capability, commercial thinking and human understanding. Throughout the programme, you'll build this distinctive blend of skills whilst helping shape the future of banking for millions of customers. This programme is designed for people who want to make an impact, not simply observe from the sidelines.
Over 24 months, you'll complete three eight-month rotations across Barclays UK businesses, gaining exposure to a broad range of teams, customers, products and business challenges.
From day one, you'll contribute to real business priorities. You could help improve customer journeys, enhance digital experiences, support product development, apply data and AI to solve business challenges, contribute to large-scale transformation programmes or support initiatives that help customers and businesses thrive.
You'll gain exposure to the technologies, digital platforms, data and AI-enabled capabilities transforming financial services. More importantly, you'll learn how to apply them to solve real customer and business problems. We believe the future of banking belongs to people who can combine digital capability, commercial thinking and human understanding, and throughout the programme you'll build this distinctive blend of skills.

Business Banking helps UK businesses start, grow and succeed.
From entrepreneurs and SMEs to established companies, these teams deliver financial solutions that support growth across the UK economy. You could gain exposure torelationship management, lending, product development , client strategy, commercial performance, risk and controls.
You'll develop commercial insight, customer understanding and first-hand experience of how banking supports business growth.
Customer Care
Customer Care sits at the heart of how Barclays supports customers when it matters most.
You could gain exposure to customer resolution, vulnerable customer support, fraud support, operations, customer experience and process transformation.
You'll build communication, judgement and problem-solving skills while working on issues that directly impact customer outcomes.
Customer & Digital
Customer & Digital focuses on how customers interact with Barclays through products, technology, data and digital experiences.
You could work on customer journeys, digital products, data and analytics, personalisation, product management, design and transformation.
This is an opportunity to build future-ready skills whilst helping shape the next generation of customer experiences.
Retail Banking
Retail Banking supports millions of customers across the UK with their everyday banking needs.
From mortgages and savings to financial wellbeing and fraud prevention, these teams balance customer outcomes, innovation and commercial performance at scale.
You'll gain insight into how a major UK bank delivers products and services that customers rely on every day.
BUK Centre
BUK Centre provides the strategic, operational and governance support that enables Barclays Business, Customer & Retail Banking to operate effectively and safely.
You could gain exposure to Strategy, Business Management, Governance, Risk, Controls, Transformation, Planning & Performance and colleague enablement teams.
This is an opportunity to understand how strategy, risk, transformation and commercial priorities come together behind the scenes of one of the UK's largest customerbusinesses.
