About the role
Wholesale Lending at Barclays is the centre of excellence for relationship lending within our Corporate and Investment Bank. As an Off-Cycle Intern, you’ll join a global team spanning the UK, US, EMEA, and APAC regions. You’ll work closely with clients, gaining a deep understanding of Barclays’ relationship lending products and supporting end-to-end transaction life cycles. This role will help you develop a client-focused mindset and the commercial acumen needed to deliver tailored lending solutions that drive business success. Through your Off-Cycle internship, you’ll build the foundations for a successful career in Wholesale Lending.
What to expect
Wholesale Lending is the centre of excellence for relationship lending across the Corporate and Investment Bank at Barclays. Responsible for product management, development, structuring and executing tailored lending solutions and portfolio management across the CIB client set.
As an Off-Cycle Analyst you will be part of an international team spanning across UK, US, EMEA and APAC. You will be a key partner to clients across International Corporate banking and Investment banking
How you'll develop
An intern will have the opportunity to work alongside an international team to gain an understanding of Barclays' core relationship lending products for CIB clients; support client engagement and experience end-to-end oversight of the transaction life cycle from origination and structuring to documentation and execution.

Ideally you'll be commercially and client aware. You will have the ability to digest financial information and make informative suggestions.
