Our Sales Enablement and Operations Manager supports our Field Team Leader and In-Store Channel Leads’ (ICL) efforts in managing the field sales team priorities, tools, communications, insights, content, systems, reporting, training and processes to support channel efforts for our Retail credit card partnerships. They collaborate closely with our Field Team leader, Field Team members and In-Store Channel Leads, with a goal of delivering on the fundamentals of our field team support, managing and improving processes, finding efficiencies in our channel practices, and developing and enhancing the quality of relevant field content, all with the intent of increasing the productivity and success of our field team and overall in-store channel credit card marketing efforts.

To be successful as a Field Sales Enablement and Operations Manager, you should have experience with:

  • Working with field sales teams and leaders with a demonstrated understanding of the structure and operations of retail partners to set realistic targets based on historical data and market conditions
  • The ability to use sales data and CRM systems to generate reports and insights that help the sales team identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement
  • Ability to think strategically and align field sales enablement with channel marketing and broader organizational goals

Some other highly valued skills may include:

  • Retail financial products sales/marketing preferred
  • MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Salesforce
  • Strong verbal and written communication to effectively train, coach, and motivate field sales teams

Purpose of the role

To develop, implement and manage marketing strategies through direct interactions with partners and their employees, including establishment of campaign budgets, monitoring of performance metrics, and implementation of data-driven optimisations to improve ROI

Accountabilities

  • Development and implementation of marketing strategies for face to face channels, including as applicable, bank branches, partner physical locations and other physical locations. This includes the identification of target audiences and establishment campaign objectives.
  • Management of marketing campaigns across face to face channels, including development of training materials, promotional materials, coordination with partners and their employees, and as applicable, branch staff, while ensuring compelling, consistent messaging across all customer touchpoints.
  • Analysis of campaign performance of face to face initiatives, and preparation of regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Enhancement of the customer experience within face to face channels, to streamline processes, and optimise the physical environment to create a positive and engaging experience, as applicable.
  • Management of performance marketing budget for face to face channels, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, including monitoring of campaign costs, negotiation of contracts with vendors, and optimisation of spending to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Evaluation of market research (including voice of the customer and the partner employees) and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive positioning within face to face channels.

  • OR for an individual contributor, they will lead collaborative assignments and guide team members through structured assignments, identify the need for the inclusion of other areas of specialisation to complete assignments. They will identify new directions for assignments and/ or projects, identifying a combination of cross functional methodologies or practices to meet required outcomes.
  • Consult on complex issues; providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
  • Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas, which requires understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function.
  • Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.
  • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams, companies, etc).to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Communicate complex information. 'Complex' information could include sensitive information or information that is difficult to communicate because of its content or its audience.
  • Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
