Radbroke
As a Barclays Strategy & TCO Analyst (Strategy and Total Cost of Ownership) you will be part of the team which maintains the future roadmap for Corporate Banking Technology, including the adoption of new technologies, decommissioning of out of support/redundant applications and supporting application teams to migrate to more efficient infrastructure patterns. Your team will use this as an analysis and communication tool to support the execution of Corporate Technology’s strategic objectives.

What will you be doing?
• Supporting the Strategy Lead to create/maintain an enterprise taxonomy to surface insight about different facets of Corporate Technology division
• Communicating the direction of travel for CB technology, partnering with the Chief Technology Office to align to the vision of established Group Technology Domains
• Developing/recommending holistic E2E solutions using business architecture frameworks and techniques to support critical business decisions
• Contributing to the evolution of the CB Business strategy, challenging thinking, and preparing data insights (e.g. cost trends)
• Supporting the TCO Lead with the monitoring and review of the cost of the Corporate Technology estate, identifying opportunities to reduce Total Cost of Ownership
• Providing support to the Strategy and TCO Leads, helping to define analysis approach in line with the strategic vision and the preferred methodology of the organization
• Supporting the Strategy Lead to create an enterprise taxonomy to surface insight about different facets of Corporate Technology division
• Participate in collaboration with Business, Innovation, Data and Technology teams to encourage innovative thinking and create ways to experiment with new ideas
What we’re looking for:
• Background in developing thought leadership/articulation of strategy and basic understanding of the drivers of cost in IT
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills and good understanding of different analysis techniques and when to apply them
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Office products with some experience using other software packages relevant to BA work
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Experience of communicating with a wide array of people and some experience of stakeholder management
• Experience of working with Run The Bank and Infrastructure Services teams preferred
• Awareness of Corporate Banking business domain preferred
• Industry standard Business Analysis Accreditation(s)
Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
