Introduction:

Manage the trade validation, lifecycle events, Brokerage, clearing and client services for various products across investment bank middle office

What will you be doing?
•    Manage trade validations across various products within investment banking business. 
•    Suggest and Implement improvements from a control and efficiency perspective and confirming to the required risk and control policies of Barclays
•    Interacting with business partners to ensure a consistent approach to client service and seek optimal solutions for our clients
•    Escalating the key risk areas and aging exceptions on timely basis to the supervisor to ensure relevant parties are informed and posted.
•    Payment for interbank transfer, Settlements
•    Stock settlement in different markets 
•    Performing reconciliations, control validation, investigating exception and address the root cause to mitigate risks around Unauthorised Trading, Missing trades, PNL/MTM mismatches, technical issues in flows between FO and BO.

What we’re looking for:
•    Degree Educated with 5-7 years of experience in an Operational environment. 
•    Experience gained in High Volume House and client service environment. 
•    Flexible and professional under pressure
•    Excellent verbal and written skills. Fluent in English.
•    Highly numerate with analytical problem solving ability.
•    Results Driven.

Skills that will help you in the role:
•    Ability to prioritise, be flexible and respond to changing environments. 
•    Confident communicator able to interact with external clients and internal stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
•    Strict deadline to be met for the payment cut off and market cut-off.
•    Swift  knowledge is an additional advantage 
•    Strong time management and ability to coordinate with various teams to action items. 
•    Self-starting team player, able to demonstrate initiative and work under little supervision. 
•    Ability to think logically and adopt a fact based approach to issue resolution. 
•    Confident in use of excel.
