Join us as a PBWM MI & Intelligence Lead, where you’ll help the business understand how Digital Investing performs across acquisition and customer engagement. You’ll deliver weekly and monthly reporting, highlight key trends, and share insights that guide where the business should focus its efforts.

In this role, you’ll prepare and present reporting packs that give teams across Digital Investing, Marketing, and Business Development a clear view of results. You’ll lead weekly performance discussions and run the monthly Digital Commercial Review for senior leaders, ensuring the conversation centres on meaningful insights and clear actions.

You’ll run deep‑dive sessions that explore specific areas of performance, helping the business understand customer behaviour and identify both opportunities and areas that may need adjustment. You’ll also act as the go‑to person for ad‑hoc reporting for senior leaders, including the CEO’s Office, turning data from multiple systems into clear dashboards and presentations.

Your work will include preparing monthly forecasts, variance analysis, and coordinating updates with Finance. You’ll also lead the annual planning process, shaping the five‑year commercial outlook with input from key stakeholders.

Alongside this, you’ll support improvements to tagging, tracking, and data completeness, and help evolve reporting processes by spotting opportunities for automation and simpler workflows. You’ll ensure long‑standing reporting cycles remain accurate and timely as new solutions are introduced.

This role offers the chance to work closely with senior leaders, influence decisions, and support the growth of Digital Investing through clear analysis, thoughtful insights, and the ability to manage several priorities at once.

To be successful as a PBWM MI & Intelligence Lead, you should have experience with:

  • Working confidently with numbers, analysis, and commercial thinking, and turning data into useful insights
  • Communicating clearly, engaging a range of stakeholders, and navigating large organisations
  • Using digital and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, and Alteryx
  • Managing both long‑term work and day‑to‑day priorities in a matrixed environment
  • Setting, measuring, and monitoring KPIs, and presenting findings in a way that supports decisions

Some other highly valued skills may include:

  • A good sense of commercial drivers, with the ability to identify key KPIs and track results in a clear and meaningful way
  • The ability to prioritise a wide range of activities and organise them based on expected commercial impact or customer benefit
  • Clear and engaging communication skills, with confidence presenting priorities, progress, opportunities, and gaps
  • The ability to build and maintain effective relationships across teams, seniority levels, and external partners within a complex matrix environment

You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.

This role is based in London or Glasgow.

Purpose of the role

To support the bank's decision-making processes by providing timely, accurate, and insightful information through designing, developing, and maintaining management reports, compelling visualisations and dashboards that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), data insights and trends across various business units.

Accountabilities

  • Design and development of comprehensive reports and dashboards utilisng best practices in data visualisation principles and design aesthetics to ensure clarity, accuracy, and accessibility.

  • Design, development and implementation of automated report generation processes and visualisation methodologies for improved efficiency and timeliness. 

  • Identification and analysis of business requirements to define report content and format.

  • Maintenance and updating of existing reports and dashboards to reflect changing business needs, including co-ordination of reporting template releases and related administrative tasks.

  • Development of robust processes & controls for collating input data, performing exploratory data analysis & data cleansing and seeking signoffs as required. 

  • Engagement with stakeholders as needed to ensure up to date data is incorporated into reporting and visualisations.

They will identify new directions for assignments and/ or projects, identifying a combination of cross functional methodologies or practices to meet required outcomes.
  • Consult on complex issues; providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
  • Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas, which requires understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function.
  • Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.
  • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams, companies, etc).to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Communicate complex information. 'Complex' information could include sensitive information or information that is difficult to communicate because of its content or its audience.
  • Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
