As a Barclays Senior Fraud Strategy & Transformation Manager you will be responsible for the management of the Private Bank Fraud Strategy. Maximising the performance of Fraud risk systems, toolkits and associated data and processes. You will be responsible for devising and implementing a set of strategies to mitigate against threats and deliver benefits to achieve fraud loss targets, providing appropriate project leadership.

What will you be doing?
• Acting as lead point of contact and SME for the Private Bank business on all matters regarding fraud risk; main fraud types covered by this role are Transactional and Internal fraud
• Representing BI Fraud Management and providing effective oversight and challenge at business committees and fora in region
• Working with the Private Bank to establish appropriate risk appetite limits and completion of Fraud Risk Assessments including the lobbying of Strategic Investment Funding
• Undertaking on-site and remote reviews of processes and controls to ensure compliance with Fraud Policy and Standards; ensuring the risk of fraud is being managed within agreed appetite
• Investigating root cause and design and implementing analytically based solutions to understand fraud trends and generate sustainable value for the business and the customers
• Proactively identifying opportunities for fraud loss reduction and customer experience enhancement opportunities
• Representing BI Fraud Management internally as well as on external forums when necessary
• Ensuring business and fraud risk stakeholders are kept up to date on emerging threats and new initiatives
What we’re looking for:
• Experience dealing with fraud risks associated to a Private Bank environment
• Understanding of Private Bank products and services
• Willingness to travel (although opportunities may be limited)
• Proactive (self-starter) – As you will be a line manager based in London liaising with key stakeholders located across the UK/EU/ASIA
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Prior knowledge or experience within a fraud strategy and/or analytics role
• Awareness of fraud risks and trends associated to all Transactional and Banking products and channels

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
