Vice President - Prime Client Service

New York

As a Vice President in Prime Client Service, you will build and develop deep relationships across our client base by providing best in class service through proactive engagement, delivering solutions and value-add content. Working with Account Management, you will be accountable for all post-trade services related to our clients’ daily activity. You will oversee activities related to clients’ cash, positions, and margin, and serve as a central repository for various client queries.

What will you be doing?

  • Working in conjunction with internal teams to deliver a smooth go-live experience for new clients and new funds/products for existing clients
  • Providing product expertise and client color to internal stakeholders on platform enhancements and new initiatives
  • Providing client support and SME for Prime Services web portal, reporting and on-line tools while ensuring that the needs of the clients’ third party vendors are met
  • Serving as a central point of contact for hedge fund clients while building and developing deep relationships across the client base
  • Proactive client connectivity through regular client reviews and meetings and communication with clients on trends and developments in the hedge fund industry
  • Overseeing issuance and collection of margin calls, trade capture process, settlement cycle, and asset servicing including dividend processing, tax withholding
  • Issue tracking and coordination across internal stakeholders while providing Sales and Account Management with regular updates on the clients’ activity and trends
  • Proactively identify ways to improve the control environment while ensuring compliance with various regulations around securities custody and reporting

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field experience is essential
  • Ability to multi-task and to remain calm in a fast-paced, high pressure environment while prioritizing effectively
  • Detail oriented, proactive, collaborative, persistent, with a strong willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication skills as well as a solutions mindset and the ability to think analytical, quickly and creatively

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Client focused with experience in a client facing role and related product (F&O’s, OTC Clearing, FXPB, equities or fixed income)
  • Time and task management skills, resourcefulness, entrepreneurial spirit, and proven leadership qualities while being a team player
  • Strong general knowledge of markets and operations and settlement functions with strong presentation, persuasive speaking, negotiation, and oral skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships internally and with clients through daily interactions and office meetings.

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center, and state-of-the-art LED signage on the façade of the building.
