Senior Technology Lead

As a Barclays Technology Lead, you will oversee all the development and delivery of strategic CRM aspects for Banking CRM. You will oversee CRM projects that will predominantly be on the salesforce.com platform. Your role will also consist of managing a development team, working with business stakeholders, internal PM/BA team, testers, and other technology teams to ensure on time and successful delivery of the CRM roadmap.

Senior CRM Project Manager

As a Barclays CRM Project Manager, you will use your expertise to oversee the development and delivery of Banking CRM. The CRM projects that you will oversee, will predominantly be on the salesforce.com platform. Your role consists of managing a BA team, working with business stakeholders, internal PM/BA team, testers and other technology teams to ensure on time and successful delivery of the CRM roadmap.

What will you be doing?

  • Managing complex technology delivery programs driven by both regulatory change and commercial priorities
  • Establishing shared and consistent governance across projects within the program, aligned to the overall Barclays’ Governance and Control standards
  • Intervening directly in projects at a detailed level to resolve issues and drive progress
  • Ensuring that technical, risk and other standards and compliance requirements are met and that the project governance is comprehensively defined and embedded across all areas
  • Working with senior business stakeholders and senior IT management to define and execute IT strategy
  • Relationship and communication management with senior stakeholders across Front Office, Technology, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Risk, Internal Audit and Regulators
  • Building and maintaining deep relationships with Business and IT stakeholders
  • Attracting, selecting, developing and retaining top quality business analysts and project manager
  • Driving continuous improvement of the delivery capabilities of the organization

What we’re looking for:

  • Significant IT or Business experience, specifically running complex, multi-year programs
  • Ability to lead and manage direct and indirect teams made up of different resource types including analysts, project managers, technology and business SME’s
  • In depth knowledge of the banking business
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering large scale IT solutions

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Experience with salesforce.com
  • Good understanding of SDLC and software application development
  • Excellent problem solving skills, logical process thinking and end-to-end system concepts
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels of the organization
