FX Prime Brokerage Client Service Analyst
Whippany, NJ

As a Barclays Foreign Exchange(FX) Prime Brokerage Client Service Analyst you will be responsible for assisting with the onboarding of new client. You will aim to provide timely and seamless solutions, ensuring clients benefit from support and expertise as well as management of their issues. You will work the Prime Derivatives Services (PDS) Business to provide our clients with exceptional service and optimal business solutions and partner with the business to help grow the client franchise.

What will you be doing?

•    Responding to client queries and act as a key point of contact for clients
•    Assisting with the integration and on boarding of new clients onto the FXPB platform, including testing trade flows and client account mappings
•    Partaking in client solutions for existing and new clients
•    Liaising with brokers, clients and their administrators to resolve T+0 trade breaks pertaining to various products e.g. FX Spot and Forward, Vanilla Options and Exotic Options
•    Being responsible for performing control and risk mitigating activities on a daily basis
•    Identifying and escalating controls gaps, be proactive in resolution and adhere to key risks and controls
•    Ensuring all trades are properly processed through the firm’s in house trading systems
•    Working effectively with other functional areas within and outside of PD

What we’re looking for:

•    Bachelor’s degree
•    3+ years knowledge of Foreign Exchange Prime Brokerage lifecycle, flows and control management
•    3+ years Client Service Experience
•    Demonstrable client services mindset, good verbal and written communication skills

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    Knowledge of investment banking processes and operations
•    Knowledge of the Traiana/Harmony applications
•    Ability to identify areas of potential risk, to prioritize, be flexible and respond to rapidly changing environments
•    Proven track record of execution and results, drive to meet deadlines and targets, ability to interact with external clients and internal stakeholders in a clear and professional manner
