Vice President, Management Analyst - Liquidity Stress Test Reporting and Analytics

What will you be doing?

•    On behalf of a global financial services organization, analyze and review funding and liquidity reports for regulatory and management reporting. 
•    Review for accuracy and completeness in data controls and financial reconciliations according to regulatory standards. 
•    Design and implement data controls and reconciliations to enhance timelines, completeness and accuracy of reports. 
•    Confer with Funding and Liquidity management to implement and test models designed for different liquidity risk scenarios aligned to internal stress testing methodology. 
•    Utilize VBA and Excel to configure and perform root cause analysis on variance existing models. 
•    Query large data sets using SQL to extract historical trend for root cause analysis and reporting requirement. 
•    Analyze impact of trade activity on stress test results for different scenarios. 
•    Define liquidity metrics to ensure metric requirements are calculated according to regulatory guidelines. 
•    Provide detailed reports for day over day movements and drivers in liquidity metrics. 
•    Supervise two (2) Assistant Vice President (AVP) level employees.  

What we’re looking for:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent, in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field and at least five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as a Business Analyst, Management Analyst, or related occupation for a financial services organization.  

Must have at least one (1) year of experience with each of the following required skills: (1) Regulatory reporting requirements for investment banking trading activity; (2) Managing internal stakeholders across finance, technology, compliance and audit to ensure regulatory compliance; (3) Building stress tests and calculation models and applying quantitative and statistical methods to data sets; (4) VBA and Excel to perform reporting, analyzing, and modeling; (5) Governance and controls; (6) Reconciling liquidity data and analyzing liquidity metrics.
