About Corporate Banking :
Corporate Banking provides integrated banking solutions, specialist advice, products and services to businesses of all sizes, multi-national companies, financial institutions and multinationals in non-UK markets.
About Deal Support Team :
The Deal Support Team (DST) was setup in May 2008 with an objective to provide support to the Corporate and Business Banking origination teams through research and analysis. It provides end to end support in the deal value chain, right from prospect generation to pitchbook and engagement books to support initial client meeting or annual discussions with the existing customers. Also supporting with ancillary services through the Coverage Support Hub.
Overall purpose of role :
Working within a Coverage Support Hub to provide first class operational support to frontline Corporate Banking UK Coverage colleagues through the completion of defined tasks including but not limited to Annual Review Process and KYC review, Transaction Monitoring, Pricing Review etc. creating capacity for Associate Bankers and Relationship Directors to focus on the key business objectives.
- Working within Coverage Support Hub (Deal Support Team), to provide first class operational support to UK Corporate Banking frontline colleagues (RDs/ABs) through the completion of defined activities, thereby creating capacity for them to focus on the key business objectives
- Collaborating with frontline colleagues for successful execution of essential, business critical procedures and templates within dedicated area of work, which provide significant value to the whole of UK Corporate Coverage
- Key responsibilities: BAU deliveries (70%); Training & quality management (10%); Workflow management, Reporting, Creating dashboards and presentations (10%); Simplification & Automation (10%)
Key Skills Required for this role (Basic/ Essential Qualifications):
Process specific skillset:
- Experience of working in a MNC Bank/Financial Services organisation in backend/operational processes such as Annual Review Process, KYC Refresh, Pricing & Billing, Transaction Monitoring, Payments etc.
- Precision in undertaking critical administrative activities and ensuring all information is accurate and aligned with standard operating procedures at all times
- Leading the training and learning agenda for colleagues - Ability to guide and mentor team members and embed a Consistently Excellent mindset across the team
- Conducting quality checks to ensure high standards of work for self and the team
- Preparing reports, presentations, and leadership dashboards to depict performance and improvement initiatives to management & stakeholders
- Experience in Workflow Management to ensure smooth and efficient allocation within the team
- Stay up-to date on industry best practices & trends in operations management
- Understand the importance of risk and control in line with the ambitions of the Bank- Identify and mitigate process risks to ensure business continuity
- Drive continuous improvement to review & streamline processes. Develop and implement improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency & productivity
Other skills:
- Ability to prioritise & manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Passion to support and/or execute ad-hoc initiatives, projects or remediation activity, as required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal teams and stakeholders
- Team player with the ability to work cross-functionally with various departments and teams
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint)
- Knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry, in particular corporate or investment banking products
- Flexible to work in shifts, particularly UK
Some of Highly Valued Skills (Desired Skills/ Desirable skillsets/ good to have) :
- Preferably a Postgraduate or MBA or MBA equivalent
- Experience in the banking/ middle office or related field
- Develop and maintain network of contacts within relevant specialist areas and projects; ensure business and process knowledge is up to date; use expert knowledge to positively influence decisions
- Ability to think critically and act decisively in high-pressure situations to resolve issues swiftly

This role is based out of Noida & Gurugram.
Purpose of the role
To support coverage to grow income for both new and existing customers by providing marketing leading tools, a world class learning & development programme as well as analytical support in terms of sales management tools to contribute to the overall success of UKC.
Accountabilities
- Design, execution and embedding of an ongoing roadmap to provides market leading Tools for RDs and Coverage.
- Design, execution and embedding of an ongoing training plan to provide ‘World Class Learning’.
- Support the delivery of market leading client collateral to provide a competitive advantage to RDs. .
- Collaboration with Product to develop market leading industry/segment focused products and multi product solutions and develop and drive initiatives.
- Development of the data capability across UK Corporate to enable delivery of client insights to drive acquisitions and increase wallet share.
- Maximise the positive impact of UCRM and Salesforce as a tool for Corporate Banking.
- Implementation of agreed minimum standards and best practices across UK Corporate and support this with sales management tools to drive overall success.
