We offer careers that provide endless opportunity – helping millions of individuals and businesses thrive, and creating financial and digital solutions that the world now takes for granted.

• Producing epics and user/ feature stories, defining the Business Objectives that form the backlog of tasks to be done based on customer or colleague needs and journeys
• Creating an effective Operational Design that is focused on customer outcomes first, explaining operational impacts and the operating model
• Participating in the design process, helping to resolve design issues and contradictory requirements; ensuring ‘traceability’
• Quantifying the impact of technology on customers and colleagues, informing communications on the changes and related business readiness activity
• Creating a single voice by unifying the views of various stakeholders, resolving conflicts, balancing value, risk, suitability and customer experience

What we’re looking for:

• Knowledge of investment banking products (Bonds, Derivatives, Repos, Securitized Products)
Where will you be working?
Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997.
We purchased the building from the landlord in early 2018 as a sign of our commitment to investment in Northampton. Plans to further develop this Campus-style location are under way to allow for a real collaborative work environment. Based just off the A45 it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.

More about working at Barclays
Our approach to hybrid working ensures there’s the right balance of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, as required for each role. For business areas that offer a hybrid working experience, this will be in a structured way, where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week. Some roles may require full onsite working. Please discuss the working pattern requirements for the role you are applying for with the hiring manager.
We continue to embed and review our hybrid working environment and remain in a phase of testing and learning. This means that working arrangements could change, with reasonable notice, to align with the needs of our business.
Barclays welcomes applications from all candidates and is committed to ensuring reasonable adjustments (accommodations) are put in place to allow for a fair and inclusive recruitment process. For more information and how to request one, please review Adjustments to the recruitment process.
