As a Barclays Senior PMO you will be part of Risk Finance & Treasury Central PMO that partners with the PM community to establish and maintain a change portfolio of work that assures alignment to the Execution Risk Governance Standard (ERGS) and Change Delivery Controls Standard (CDCS). You will face off with a specified CIO Portfolio within RFT to check, challenge, and hold our aligned PMO and PM community responsible for meeting governance standards set forth by Barclays.

What will you be doing?
• Provide governance guidance to assigned Portfolio for execution by the aligned PMO or PM
• Contribute to Risk Finance Treasury Central PMO strategy by being a thought leader and implementing change
• Review governance artefacts for a set of 20-30 initiatives provided by aligned PMOs and PMs including Change Risk Impact Assessments, Gated Funding etc.
• Contribute to Fortnightly PMO: Comms & Training Session, including training aligned PMOs and PMs on new governance standards and implementing new processes
• Maintain trackers for the Portfolio to meet governance expectations on time to support central reporting requirements Control Environment and Risk Profile Assessment (CEPA)
• Addressing ad hoc governance queries
• Acting as an established subject matter expert (SME) on the Delivery Lifecycle, key Control Standards, Processes & Tools
• Perform controls testing and participate in audits as needed
What we’re looking for:
• Excellent stakeholder management to Executive level
• Experience in a financial services firm
• Experience in technology project governance or management space
• Formal external qualification/ accreditation in project/ programme management methodology
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Degree qualified
• Excellent presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
• Proactive decision maker
Where will you be working?
Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997.
We purchased the building from the landlord in early 2018 as a sign of our commitment to investment in Northampton. Plans to further develop this Campus-style location are under way to allow for a real collaborative work environment. Based just off the A45 it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
