People Advisory Partner- 12 months FTC

As a Barclays People Advisory Partner you will be part of the Barclays Prague HR team who support 1000+ employees, mainly working in Global Technology teams. You will be responsible for efficient and effective management of HR processes and procedures: Learning and Development, Performance Development (PD), Reward, Employee Relations, as well as HR Operations. Your will use your expertise to provide professional HR support to the Country Head of HR, D&A Lead and employees.

What will you be doing?
• Acting as main point of contact for management and employees, guiding on/ resolving a wide range of HR queries incl. complex ones e.g. policy and process questions
• Working with Country Head of HR, D&A Lead, coordinating projects within Learning and Development, Performance, Rewards, Payroll, Employee Relations and onboarding
• Management of pre-employment process - contact with candidates, screening activities, query resolution, contract preparation, onboarding in SAP
• Conducting all daily HR operational functions including administering new joiners and leavers, preparation of references, personal consents, invitation letters, etc.
• Preparing legal documents, as well as contracts, and liaising with legal, reward, tax, pension and expatriate professionals
• Supporting the team on local to local transfers advising managers and employees, following up on process flow, issuing relevant documents
• Running the immigration processes and liaising with external immigration services vendor; supporting employees in managing Visa and work permits locally
• Maintaining data in the various HR systems and reporting tools/ trackers, as well preparing various HR reports

What we’re looking for:
• Experience of working in People Advisory, HR Generalist/ HR Advisor or similar role 
• Great knowledge of Czech labor legal environment and proficient understanding of HR policies and procedures
• Outstanding integrity and discretion especially in dealing with confidential and sensitive data
• Excellent communication skills and Czech & English fluency, as you will be communicating with employees/ stakeholders at all levels inside and outside company

• SAP & MS office tools knowledge 
• Positive, team player with can-do attitude, as well as growth & self-development mindset 
• Very good organizational, prioritization and planning skills and ability to work in fast pace environment

Our Prague office is based in the financial centre of Prague. We are part of the Operations and Technology Division, and as such, we try our best to stay at the top of our technological game. However, the technology itself is not the most important thing.
