As a Barclays PMO you will be managing execution risk effectively, delivering on our group strategy and satisfying stakeholders by delivering our initiatives consistently and transparently. You will ensure initiative delivery is managed in line with the relevant Policies and Standards, using standard processes and tooling to improve the level and likelihood of successful outcomes, and that all stakeholders are aware of progress and have the information needed to make the right decisions in a timely manner.

What will you be doing?
• Working with stakeholders across impacted businesses to lead the delivery of LIBOR transition activities, providing input and oversight to regulatory requests for information
• Maintaining the three lines of defense execution risk framework to ensure programme is executed in accordance with change standards and programme execution risk
• Controlling the overall programme plan, scope and budget, whilst ensuring execution is interlocked across work streams
• Ensuring that governance is adequate to ensure risks and issues are identified and escalated to resolution effectively
• Providing support to the PMO Lead in providing these services, and will focus on key aspects of governance e.g. reporting, planning, risk management
• Safeguarding effective change control processes, ensuring the business case is updated and managed through appropriate governance
• Supporting in assessing the risks from the change, tracking of thematic issues, early identification & management of RAIDs; completing a Change Risk Impact Assessment
• Using your experience and insight to help challenge efficiency, to maintain a focus on delivering outcomes, and to predict potential blockers
What we’re looking for:
• Large scale project management/PMO and governance experience is essential
• Ability to master and navigate new subject domains quickly
• Strong analytical skills, such as Database/ Data Modelling experience (MS Access, SQL, Excel Pivots)
• Knowledge of investment banking products (Bonds, Derivatives, Repos, Securitised Products) would be highly desirable
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Professional qualifications e.g. CFA, FRM or Project Management methodology is preferred
• Experience of Programme Manager Tools e.g. HP Clarity with be an advantage

Our Prague office is part of the Operations and Technology Division, and as such, we try our best to stay at the top of our technological game.
