Job Title:Asia Branch Project Manager

Location: Pune

Introduction:

Manage end to end Projects, Business Requirements, Analysis, Execution, and Delivery of required features across Markets Post Trade IT in APAC.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/ Business Analyst in the Investment Bank - Post Trade Services area in Asia to be based in Pune. The candidate chosen will be working to manage various medium to large scale project for the APAC branches. The candidate will work very closely with key business partners, technology teams and external parties for any business requirements including system design and enhancements. The candidate can be assigned to multiple projects at a time. The candidate may have to people manage and guide junior Business Analyst/ PM or Developers in the team.

What will you be doing?

  • Serve as a Lead Project Manager/Business Analyst with the Post Trade Book of Work.
  • Support requirement gathering, business analysis, execution and delivery phase, including testing of all the features across all Markets Post Trade IT applications.
  • Work Closely with Front and Back office users, Dev Managers, Dev Team and QA team to help deliver projects on time and with high quality. 
  • Gradually learn and gain in-depth knowledge of application functionality as required.
  • Manage various stakeholders in both Operations and Technology
  • Vendor management responsibilities.
  • Team Management Responsibilities.

What we’re looking for:

  • Project management and business analysis skills in development lifecycle experience (5- 7 years), working within IT, with proven delivery record and an ability to work in a demanding environment.
  • Knowledge of full cycle Investment Bank trading concepts
  • Agile experience
  • Capable of understanding functional specifications that drive change and cross functional project plans
  • Experience with MS Visio, Project, Excel, Word, SharePoint as well knowledge sharing tools (e.g. Confluence wiki)

Skills that will help you in the Role:

  • Relevant Experience in managing back office processing like settlements and confirmation project. 
  • Motivated self-starter - able to work at both a strategic and detail level
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Track record in the delivery and implementation of change initiatives
  • Ability to prioritize, be flexible and respond to changing environments
  • Self-starting team player, able to demonstrate initiative and work under little supervision
  • Strong time management and ability to coordinate with various teams to action items
  • Strong internal relationship management skills and ability to work across many areas of the organization, ability to build ongoing work relationships and also work in ad-hoc teams
  • Knowledge of local India data localization requirements.
