To be successful as a Scrum Master you should have experience with:
- Directly manage and facilitate multiple feature teams, owning end-to-end Agile execution across those teams.
- Ensure Scrum ceremonies are consistently effective, outcome-driven, and aligned to enterprise delivery standards.
- Act as first point of accountability for delivery execution issues within owned teams.
- Coach, mentor, and govern other Scrum Masters to ensure consistent Agile practices and delivery discipline.
- Be accountable for the quality of user stories, including clear acceptance criteria, readiness, and alignment to technical standards.
- Ensure prompt closure of stories, defects, and delivery actions, avoiding spill-over and ageing work.
- Own timely, accurate, and transparent reporting across delivery metrics, risks, dependencies, and progress.
- Double up as a Technical Delivery Manager during release automation, coordinating readiness, dependencies, and sequencing.
- Partner with Engineering, Architecture, Platform, and Product leaders to ensure delivery feasibility and stability.
- Use delivery, flow, and quality metrics to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.
- Represent delivery status, risks, and recovery plans at senior governance forums.
- Champion Agile values, accountability, and a high-performance delivery culture.

- Strong senior-level leadership with the ability to operate hands-on while influencing at scale.
- Deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and enterprise Agile delivery models.
- Proven experience combining Scrum Master and Technical Delivery Manager responsibilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and senior-level communication skills.
- Strong command of delivery metrics, reporting, and governance expectations.

The role is based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
Facilitates and supports Agile teams by ensuring they follow Scrum principles. To remove obstacles, enhance team collaboration, and ensure smooth communication, enabling the team to focus on delivering high-quality, iterative results. Facilitate Scrum events, promote continuous improvement, and act as a bridge between the team and external stakeholders.
Accountabilities
Facilitate Events: Facilitate events, as needed, and ensure that all events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox
Support Iteration Execution: Ensure quality of ceremony artefacts and continuous customer value through iteration execution, maintain backlog refinement, and iterate on stakeholder feedback
Optimize Flow: Identify and facilitate the removal of conflict impacting team flow, utilizing metrics to empower the team to communicate effectively, making all work visible
Mitigate Risks: Identify and escalate risks to remove impediments and shield the Squad from interruptions
Build High-Performing Teams: Foster and coach Agile Team attributes and continuous improvement, encourage stakeholder collaboration, deputise ‘in the moment leadership’, and drive high-performing team attributes
Stakeholder Management: Facilitate stakeholder collaboration (e.g., business stakeholders, product teams, vendors) and build trust with stakeholders
Governance and Reporting: Ensure data quality and provide representation at required governance forums, if applicable.
Experience Required
- 12–15+ years overall experience, with significant tenure in Agile and delivery leadership roles.
- 5+ years operating as a senior Scrum Master, Agile Lead, or equivalent role.
- Demonstrated experience directly managing multiple feature teams.
- Experience coaching other Scrum Masters while retaining direct delivery accountability.
- Strong background in large-scale enterprise environments; regulated industry experience preferred.
