Senior Fraud Manager
Remote Working 

As a Barclays Senior Fraud Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that a robust fraud framework is in place and that fraud controls, across the business, are optimised. You will be devising and implementing a set of strategies to mitigate against threats and deliver benefits to achieve fraud loss targets and provide project leadership. You will be driven to reduce fraud losses while minimising impact of financial loss to our customers.

What will you be doing?
• Managing a team responsible for sourcing, collating, reporting and submitting fraud losses to meet regulatory requirements and deadlines
• Managing the delivery of scheduled reporting requirements to key audiences/ stakeholders, encompassing MI, insight, trend analysis and key metrics
• Developing a comprehensive risk MI reporting capability, in order to identify and escalate risk exposures to senior management on a timely basis
• Delivering and providing appropriate training to your team to ensure all MI reporting requirements can be met
• Reviewing and evaluating the existing approach to Fraud awareness, and then managing your team to deliver changes and improvements as necessary
• Managing the development of Fraud material for all domestic & international products and channels (e.g. cards, payments & digital)
• Devising and implementing strategies to increase the impact of Fraud prevention advice across social media channels and customer contact points

What we’re looking for:
• Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels and with senior stakeholders
• Extensive knowledge and experience of delivery in respect of both management and operational reporting, including an understanding of reporting drivers
• A proven track record for managing delivery of fraud awareness material and awareness of fraud risks and trends across Commercial & Private portfolios
• A thorough understanding of risk control, detection, prevention and mitigation practices


Skills that will help you in the role:
• Experience in managing a fraud reporting team
• An excellent knowledge of PSD2 reporting requirements
• Experience of working in fraud strategy; ability to demonstrate that you are conversant with most or all corporate fraud typologies and current threats
• Demonstrable skills in Excel, Word, Visio and Power Point
