As a Barclays Head of Business Delivery and Control, you will be responsible for running all operational aspects of the Singapore Private Bank Platform, including responsibility for delivering the Front Office risk and control framework for Private Bank Singapore. Working closely with stakeholders across Private Bank globally, and to drive continuous improvements is a key requirement. What will you be doing?
- Providing support to the business heads in the delivery of their commercial objectives, ensuring a smooth, effective and compliant operation of the business environment
- Being responsible for supporting the effective cost budgeting and control, head count management and for ensuring that fixed and varied costs are managed appropriately
- Embedding the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) to ensure appropriate risk management coverage, building effective partnerships with colleagues across the
- Working with 1st, 2nd and 3rd lines of defence, aligning priorities to anticipate and ensure future potential issues are avoided
- Driving compliance with group policies, regulatory requirements, and social expectations whilst embedding conduct considerations in daily activities.
- Achieving timeliness, consistency, quality, completeness and accuracy in reporting to stakeholders
- Managing the closure of identified control gaps and actions while providing transparent reporting on progress
- Partnering and driving consistency across the platform by engaging, sharing and working to align approach & policy and process (taking into account regional variation)
What we’re looking for:
- Proven successful and extensive track record working internally in a financial services institution with strong evidence of career progression and high achievement.
- Have exceptional level of relationship building skills, senior management exposure and excellent communication skills are an essential requirement.
- Excellent command of the English language with strong written and verbal communication skills is crucial.
- Be action-orientated, proactive individual and a structured thinker with an appreciation for political sensitivity with the ability to multi-task in a high pressure environment

- Demonstrate self-motivation, logical thinking, influencing and presentation skills and an ability to communicate with ease and credibility with senior leaders.
- Collegiate with a strong team approach and ability to network and build relationships across teams will be very important

Our office is located in Marina Bay Financial Centre, which has been carefully crafted into a “city in a garden”.
