As a Barclays Singapore Legal Entity Control Analyst, you will have the opportunity to join a team that manages the financial reporting function. While this function reviews and finalizes the entity financials, the main aim of your role is to produce reports for the external regulators. You will work on the analytical review, accounting and first line controls, which is oversight of the legal entity control environment, utilizing existing Controls MI to ensure appropriate process governance exists.

What will you be doing?
- Producing MAS, SingStat and ACRA regulatory reporting for Barclays Merchant Bank (Singapore) Ltd, a subsidiary of Barclays Bank PLC
- Preparing and completing month end MI including an analytics of Profit & Loss, balance sheet movements, intercompany mismatches etc.
- Working with the Vice President to develop and set up controlling tools ensuring data integrity and completeness for accurate and timely regulatory reporting submission
- Preparing and submitting IRAS tax filings including indirect and direct tax and working in close consultation with the Tax team in Singapore
- Responding to ad-hoc queries both internally and from regulators and supporting queries from external auditors during annual prudential audit
- Supporting Finance projects initiatives around reporting changes and controls, process reviews and system enhancements
- Preparing of annual statutory accounts under Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
- Working predominantly with Axiom, SAP, BW, Access and Excel as well as the core sub-ledgers
What we’re looking for:
- Good control and financial reporting skills
- Excellent financial accounting knowledge on banking products
- Previous work experience in an investment bank or Big Four
- University/ Tertiary qualification
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Experience in regulatory reporting
- Ability to work in a high pressure and demanding environment
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a team and maintain good relationship with team members
