Strategic Delivery Lead

As the B&V Strategic Delivery Lead, the individual will manage the technology delivery that enables the strategic build of technology that supports the B&V (Existing Customer Offers and Campaigns) Customer Journeys and product feature experience for the US Cards business. This includes technology delivery, cross journey change management, and risk and control of customer and colleague facing features in order to provide a world-class customer/client experience for the Consumer Cards product. The individual will be responsible for the delivery of the development, product delivery leadership, quality, and timely delivery of projects. You will manage scope of projects from inception to closure. Define, develop and manage implementation schedules and project budgets and help identify key business objectives and provide solution recommendations while performing business proves and management consulting analysis. You will also coordinate resources, prepare project teams for kick-off and ensure effective completion of project milestones, control scope and mitigate risks. Responsibilities also include ensuring cross-functional teams are delivering to configuration, development, and methodology standards.

What will you be doing?

  • Experience in delivery large scale, high priority stragegic technology programs.
  • Can manage both complex (internal & external) technology platforms, and manage delivery across both product and platform tech teams.
  • Good technical exposure to Java, Backend & Cloud (AWS) architecture.
  • Extensive hand son and provide technical direction to development teams
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Architecture.
  • Extensive background in development and delivering complex projects throughout the lifecycle.
  • Project planning and progress monitoring, including budget control and milestone control.
  • Creative problem solver, able to build contingency plans and handle stressful situations with professionalism.

What we’re looking for:

  • Master’s degree in quantitative discipline or relevant work experience in IT or software development
  • Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with creating stored procedures and views.
  • Solid understanding of complex enterprise organizational infrastructure and architecture environments
  • Experienced in building project plans and managing risks, issues, dependencies and pulling teams together to work through these items while managing stakeholder expectations

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Exposure in ETL- Abinitio & Data modelling along with Data architecture will be a plus
  • Ability to balance multiple critical requests from various stakeholders with outstanding precision
  • Prior working knowledge of AWS (Amazon Cloud) is a plus.
  • Experience in leading teams
