Data Governance Analyst
Whippany NJ

As a Barclays Data Governance Analyst, you will have an exciting opportunity to ensure Group Data Management Standards are being managed and governed as per the Group Data Management Policy. You will be working alongside Business SMEs, Operations, Architects and Technology.

What will you be doing?
•   Facilitating successful completion of committed planning/ deliverables/ milestones
•   Compiling of material for Horizontal Working Groups and associated forums/ meetings
•   Attending strategic tooling sessions
•   Governing councils, working groups and forums, this includes but not limited to: managing minutes, actions, RAID logs etc.
•   Ensuring adherence to Group Data Management Standards is met at all times
•   Supporting data partner activities and co-ordinating progress updates
•   Co-ordinating delivery of operating models, designs, procedures
•   Progress Tracking/ Reporting (including achievements, next steps, milestone progress, risks & issues, Horizontal RAG)

What we’re looking for:
•   Previous experience in Project/ Change Management
•   Governance background
•   Track record of monitoring targets, metrics, measurements & Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
•   Experience in Stakeholder Management

Skills that will help you in the role:
•   Data Management background
•   Basic knowledge of data regulations e.g. Basel, BCBS 239, CCAR etc.
•   Experience in the Risk and Controls environment and Issue resolution
•   Experience in process re-engineering/ LEAN activities
