Data Analyst Lead
Whippany NJ

As a Barclays Data Analyst Lead, you will play an integral role in the delivery of Group Data strategy within the Risk, Finance and Treasury and IHC Chief Data Office. You will focus on all aspects of the data strategy, supporting initially the delivery of data lineage and control related artefacts, as well as supporting strategic data transformation programmes as part of Business as Usual activity.

What will you be doing?
•   Working closely with subject matter experts within the business, technology and operations functions to ensure compliance to the data standards
•   Working alongside other Chief Data Office teams to ensure consistency of approach and front-to-back lineage being delivered
•   Supporting data governance and quality assurance activities
•   Providing project updates and reporting on progress on data quality and control remediation activities

What we’re looking for:
•   Bachelor’s Degree (BA/ BSc/ BEng)
•   Experience in Data Management and Data Governance
•   Experience in Risk, Finance and Treasury functions within banking industry

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Knowledge of Project Lifecycle methods and understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management
• Excellent MS Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word, MS Project and Visio skills
