As a Barclays Project Manager, you’ll manage Execution Risk effectively, deliver on our Group strategy and satisfy all our stakeholders, we must deliver our initiatives consistently and transparently. Project and Program Managers apply the right processes, tools, methods and skills to manage the delivery of a project from business case through to closure, ensuring consistent focus on front to back business outcomes and target value proposition.

What will you be doing?
- Maintain a future focus, looking ahead to ensure any risks or dependencies are managed effectively
- Build trusted relationships with a network of key stakeholders that help influence project outcomes, acting as an advocate for the change and joining up executives and delivery teams
- Being responsible for governance and oversight – provide the framework for implementation, working with the AE and Program Manager to establish a governance forum.
- Determining, monitoring and managing to workforce and financial requirements, liaising with product and service delivery on resource requirements; supplier and vendor management;
- Monitoring any supply related risks and setting up the initiative team with clear roles and responsibilities; ensuring ongoing costs and capitalization meet MTP and budget requirements.
- Taking responsibility for creating and managing the project plan that will ensure on-time, effective delivery of front to back (F2B) outcomes in line with the business case
- Conducting business analysis, as required, to supplement the project delivery role and/or engaging with technical business analysts in other teams
- Ensuring that planned outputs deliver the agreed outcomes and that the outcomes remain relevant; course correcting where required to ensure the program delivers on its aims
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of Project Management experience working on change management initiatives at a top tier consulting firm, investment bank, or Fortune 500 company.
- Knowledge of how to effectively interpret evolving business requirements, whiteboard solution architectures, project manage through the project life cycle, build requirements for implementation.
- Understanding of the different project methodologies, i.e. Agile Project Methodology, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Strong understanding of the front-to-back processes in Securitized Products business processes.
- Knowledge of Risk, QA Libraries, Finance and Operations aspects of Securitized Products
- Knowledge of Securitized Products models for pricing and valuation
- Working knowledge of the main features of core IB products and business processes – Derivatives, Cash, Financing, Treasury, Reference Data, Middle Office, Risk, Finance, Control
