Senior Java Data Services and Applications Developer: AVP
Whippany, NJ

This role will function as a US Lead in the Data warehouse & Trade Store space for the Data Quality, Control & Regulatory Program. As a part of the team, you will be responsible to design & deliver regulatory reports like Bluesheets which are sent to external regulators along with ACT and other surveillance reports. You will also extend to support any Adhoc inquiries from internal regulators & Compliance team. You will work with the counterparts in the Europe and Pune to keep the deliverables on track and run Weekly calls with their Global peers.

What will you be doing?

• Design and Architect the DQ and Control framework for Fabric Analytics and Reporting Stream
• Lead & Deliver the Audit Items & BICEPs in the DQ, Control & Bluesheets space
• Lead & Manage a team and ensure the Team objectives and priorities are well understood.
• Ensure the Bluesheets requirements and catered to in the CAT (Consolidated Audit Trail) Reporting
• Provide Technical guidance to the team on the New Technologies (Hadoop/Impala) being used.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree
• Extensive hands-on experience in JAVA/J2EE software development
• Strong Unix, Shell Scripting, Autosys
• Real-Time Data Intergration

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Advanced Degree in Computer Science
• Application development using middleware technologies (MQ, Solace or Tibco)
• Batch processing heavy volume feeds
• Knowledge with Maven, GIT, TeamCity, Nexus, SonarCube, IntelliJ Idea
• Experience working with Protocol Buffers/Camel
• Understanding of XML and XPath processing.
• Experience with Data warehouse and Database development
• Strong analytical skills and logical thinking to manage issues in a high-pressure environment
• Python
• R programming
• Extensive experience in Hadoop/Spark
