Technical Project Manager
Whippany, NJ

As a Barclays Technical Project Manager, you will drive multiple projects related to Prime Settlements platform. This is a techno-functional lead role with deep knowledge of financial settlement systems along with software engineering processes and delivery. You will be responsible for decommission of legacy securities settlement platforms, by leading multi-year complex projects across multiple teams.

What will you be doing?
•   Managing transformation of project management activities
•   Monitoring and reporting of key project deliverables/risk/issues
•   Building Dashboard and program level metrics for Senior management on project progress
•   Collaboration with BA and Dev teams to implement robust change management processes
•   Coordinating front to back testing effort and manage defect resolution
•   Managing Risks, Issues and Dependencies
•   Supporting projects through its full lifecycle from inception to implementation

What we’re looking for:
•   Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
•   Hands-on experience on managing large transformational projects for settlements systems
•   Able to create accurate and timely reporting for senior management
•   Experience in coordinating front to back testing and tracking

Skills that will help you in the role:
•   Knowledge of securities settlements life cycle
•   Understanding of Agile SDLC concepts; Understanding of Scrum/Agile SDLC methodology.
•   Good understanding of investment banking domain knowledge
