SAS Control & Governance Testing Analyst
Henderson, NV

As a SAS Control & Governance Testing Analyst, you would be responsible for supporting end-to-end Control Assurance Testing of key processes for Barclaycard Collections operations. Your main responsibility is to generate developmental analysis and reporting, capturing both strategic and operational perspectives for effective auditing.

What will you be doing?

•    Designing, evaluating, and implementing testing for key operational controls within Collections department and operations. 
•    Incorporating strategy and business requirements to generate exception reporting for the identification of gaps in key controls and detect issues relating to regulatory/compliance.
•    Supporting the facilitation of conducting issue and risk management through process control to prevent and mitigate issue and repeat audit findings.
•    Providing external audit support, including sample creation, testing and analysis.
•    Communicating effectively with key process owners and team members to report key risks and findings.   
•    Recommending solutions to the business to enhance existing process controls; work with all levels within the bank.  
•    Performing data basing, analysis and reporting to support overall function of the testing team
•    Presenting results and conclusions for audits and analyses

What we’re looking for:

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant field or equivalent work experience using SAS program. 
•    Substantial experience and relevant work experience in credit card industry with emphasis in Collections, Compliance, Controls or Audit
•    Advanced proficiency in SAS and SQL programming 

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    Experience with Automation, Unix, SQL Navigator/Developer, data basing, reporting and analysis
•    In-depth knowledge of Credit Card Collections processes
•    Deep understanding of Internal Controls and governance of Collections practices
•    Comfortable working independently to assess, improve and enhance control environment
