Process Mining – Data Engineer

As a Barclays Process Mining Data Engineer, you will be involved with the roll out of new technology, providing diagnostic and monitoring capabilities which will radically optimise performance and drive simplicity across key processes. As part of the Business Architecture and Automation (BA&A) Group you will address complex business challenges, delivery and design of high significant value opportunities. What will you be doing?
• Supporting the design, development and delivery of the BA&A Process Mining (PM) service offering
• Supporting the successful delivery of PM service engagements in line with defined objectives and agreed timelines
• Gathering and preparing business requirements; agreeing data extraction; designing and building the data model in PM tool; creating a catalogue of reusable connectors
• Performing in-depth process and data analytics, generating actionable insight and quantifying the associated value of recommended changes
• Promoting, highlighting and educating the benefits of PM across the organisation
• Being able to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions 

What we’re looking for:
• Degree or industry equivalent with relevant experience within Data analytics and high-impact date visualisation
• Working knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) 
• Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
• Stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills 

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Knowledge and experience implementing process mining solutions
• Knowledge and experience of Business Architect concepts 
• Experience of industry recognized process automation tool sets / capabilities

Where will you be working?
In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
