Business Manager – Securitized Products Business 
New York, NY 

As a Barclays Business Manager, you will support the Securitized Products Business in the United States as well as broader global initiatives as directed by the Business heads or Global Business Manager. The role is critical to the business in that you will work closely with business to design and implement key strategic programs.

What will you be doing?
•    Support Regional and Global Business Management team in designing, coordinating and implementing key strategic programs for Securitized Products team. 
•    Work with the Functions/Business to propose and deliver solutions to improve processes, strengthen our controls, meet trading or control/regulatory requirements. 
•    Maintaining the overall integrity of the controls environment in partnership with the Chief Controls Office. 
•    Fully engaged on our risk and control forum, full understanding of metrics & operational issues with ability to provide and coordinate solution when issues arise. 
•    Participation in regular management meetings and delivering a wide variety of presentation materials and updates to senior management. 
•    Help in the management key financial resource metrics (LBS, RWA, P&L, sales credits) including ongoing monitoring and forecasting. 
•    Manage and coordinate new product development with NAPA team, Functions and Regional or Global Business Management
•    Analyzing various MI sources to providing insight to Business Head and senior Business Managers

What we’re looking for:
•    Some experience within the Financial Markets 
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field 
•    Ability to manage projects end-to-end with traders, finance and IT partners and excellent attention to detail whilst also being ultimately focused on delivery

Skills that will help you in the role:
•    Effective communication skills and proven track record of supporting large scale projects
•    Solid product knowledge in Fixed Income
