As a Barclays GMO Delivery Manager, your role will involve transforming strategic ideas into change projects that can be planned, and monitored whilst being mindful of risk, budget and personal conduct. You will use your operational expertise to define, assess and support the implementation of strategic and tactical business change that will facilitate client service improvements, capacity savings, increased alignment of the organization and the implementation of strategic target operating model.

What will you be doing?
• Transforming a strategic idea into a well-designed change project that can be planned, organized and tracked
• Supporting investment case submission activities to enable us to deliver our target operating model
• Supporting data and numerical analysis to support key strategic decisions
• Assisting with the management of a project portfolio and ensure consistent delivery under pressure
• Acting as a catalyst for change and inspire confidence in stakeholders with the quality and conviction of their vision, building support and sponsorship at all levels
What we’re looking for:
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate/influence at senior levels in order to decide optimum way forward.
• Proficiency in presenting information in a concise and informative manner, combined with strong attention to detail
• Ability to liaise between the Business, IT and the functions to create common terminology by moving away from technical or product specific references
• Competency with Microsoft applications such as Excel, Powerpoint and Word
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Detailed knowledge or experience within Financial Market Operations
• Experience of Requirements Capturing for Business Analysis
• Ability to interpret, draw conclusions from data and communicate findings in clear and convincing manner to stakeholders
• Preferred Knowledge of operational modelling tools e.g. Blueworks, MS Visio-swimlanes
Where will you be working?
Barclays' Wilmington campus includes two beautiful buildings located along the historic Wilmington Riverfront. A glance out our windows reveal a scenic look at the Christina River, along with a growing riverfront community of luxury apartments, shops, and restaurants. Additionally, the Wilmington train station is a short walk away making travel from New York and Washington, DC convenient.
