Risk Management Framework Design & Operations Manager
Whippany, New Jersey

As a Barclays Risk Management Framework Design & Ops Manager you’ll be accountable for partnering with the Global Banking Business Operational Rigour and Direct Business Partner in embedding a controls mind-set across the business. Additionally, you will work to provide oversight, support and analysis of business implementation and embedment of the Barclays Enterprise Risk Management Framework and Barclays Control Framework (BCF) ensuring appropriate control policies and frameworks are in place.

What will you be doing?
•    Support Business Partners on the implementation and execution of the BCF which includes Risk and Control Self Assessments and other control related remediation/analysis
•    Provide subject matter expertise on the embedment of Barclays Enterprise Risk Management Framework, Barclays Control Framework and adherence to relevant policies
•    Partner with the Banking business on the implementation of strategic control initiatives, enhancements and regulatory projects
•    Participate in and influence the development of the Risk and Control Operating Model design to meet the needs of a changing organizational construct
•    Develop productive working relationships with senior Front Office management to ensure they understand their risks and have controls/ processes in place to manage those risks
•    Review how issues identified are resolved and whether actions taken are suitable and sustainably implemented
•    Provide expert control advice as a valued control business partner for the Banking business 

What we’re looking for:
•    Bachelor degree or relevant business experience
•    Vast experience working in a senior management capacity at an Investment Bank
•    Experience of working in a Front Office/ Audit/Risk and Control environment within an Investment Bank with a focus on Banking 
•    Good understanding of Microsoft Excel and analytical skills to perform data manipulation

Skills that will help you in the role:
•    Proven leadership experience in an Operational Control environment or Risk and Control role
•    Proven depth of expertise in strategy execution, with experience of leading change across global and cross-functional teams
•    Experience of continuous process and control improvement for both efficiency and risk management purposes
•    Excellent understanding of the dynamics of large, complex organizations
