As a Barclays Fraud Strategy Capability Manager you will be responsible for creating and presenting business cases for innovative fraud strategies and tools to senior management and partnership. Agility and flexibility are required to quickly shift focus and efforts to the most pressing fraud need at the time. What will you be doing?
• Conducting regular evaluation of fraud strategies and controls across the Fraud eco-system and identify opportunities and drive optimization
• Identifying the need for new/updated tools and champion the integration into strategies; work with the central fraud analytic teams as required for tool development projects
• Investigating complaint root cause and design and implement analytically based solutions to understand fraud trends to generate sustainable value for the business and the customers
• Liaising with Fraud counterparts globally to ensure effective collaboration, leverage best practices, and help to drive excellence in fraud management
• Setting the example and help to shape a high performance organization culture
• Assisting peers when needed across all functions and processes within the Fraud department
• Identifying relevant 3rd party data and service providers and support the negotiation, integration and management of on-going relationship
• Generating business cases with verifiable results to present to leadership
What we’re looking for:
• Experience with fraud risk in financial services, payments, or fintech
• Proven record of success in strategy development, problem solving, leadership, governance, controls and business innovation
• Ability to work in a collaborative and effective manner in a matrixed organisation across multiple layers
• Proven key stakeholder management experience, and ability to effectively articulate strategies and performance metrics
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Experience in digital authentication and machine learning
• Exceptional level of stakeholder management skills
• Initiative and project management experience

Additionally, the Wilmington train station is a short walk away making travel from New York and Washington, DC convenient.
