As a Barclays Digital Messaging Lead you will be a manager within the Email Channel Team. You will work with various product and segment owners as well as internal groups to set quantifiable goals. You will orchestrate resources to optimize the performance of email marketing efforts to Barclays customers. You will consult with various teams, to design and deliver email communications using digital best practices that drive business outcomes.

What will you be doing?
• Collaborating with internal teams, and external vendors to ensure email campaigns, some highly complex, are designed and executed flawlessly to meet business goals
• Managing the tactical execution steps required to launch email communications, review of creatives, confirming conformity to best practices
• Identifying and delivering continuously on necessary improvements to ensure flawless execution of email communications
• Managing the relationship with the email vendors and manage prioritization of their pipeline of work
• Delivering on a test & learn plan (email subject line testing, content testing) to drive business outcomes
• Forecasting, tracking and reporting of email performance
What we’re looking for:
• Extensive marketing experience, preferably in digital marketing
• Email Channel experience, with a technical and specialized understanding of email marketing
• Experience with email vendors such as Epsilon, Genesys and Salesforce
• Have a Bachelor’s degree in any specialism
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Financial Services industry experience
• Knowledge of email best practices, technologies and engagement trends
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage your workload independently to meet deadlines, and appropriately communicate any risks
• Project management experience, ability to lead in a highly matrixed organization, maintain project records, whilst complying with all control and regulatory requirements

Barclays' Wilmington campus includes two beautiful buildings located along the historic Wilmington Riverfront. A glance out our windows reveal a scenic look at the Christina River, along with a growing riverfront community of luxury apartments, shops, and restaurants. Additionally, the Wilmington train station is a short walk away making travel from New York and Washington, DC convenient.
