What will you be doing?
**Multiple Position Openings Available**
• On behalf of a global financial services organization, research, design, develop and test post-trade regulatory reporting systems and products for Trade and Transaction Reporting Technology (TTRT) business.
• Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements to ensure root cause is addressed and optimal decision making is delivered for user requirements.
• Provide business systems support to the Lead Business Analyst, assisting to define analysis approach in line with program strategic vision and preferred organizational methodology.
• Utilize SQL, Impala and Rainstor to analyze reporting metadata to determine, recommend, and plan modifications to reporting systems.
• Utilize UNIX, Angular JS, HTML 5, PERL and Oracle to design and develop technical infrastructure required for reporting system by analyzing trade data and developing trade message connectivity between systems to consume and publish required dataset to downstream systems and reporting engines.
• Perform testing against articulated acceptance criteria, including facilitating modern testing practices and quality assurance processes to ensure delivery of working software and to verify that user experience meets expectations.
• Confer with project managers and business area Subject Matter Experts to analyze and ascertain high-level requirements and obtain information on limitations and capabilities for data processing projects.
• Analyze integration of product software outputs into impacted businesses, services, products, and platforms to ensure smooth handover to BAU owners 'go live'.
• Develop learning content, including operational guides, user guides, business readiness, user training, associated training, and execution plans.
• Articulate and present commercial effectiveness of requirement proposals within projects and initiatives.
• Elicit, validate and document systems requirements in Business Requirements Documents, User, and Feature Stories.
• Participate in design process as coordinated by Program Management team, from design approval to functional design completion.
• Support testing strategy and input into coverage of test scenarios and conditions ensuring all requirements in scope are tested.
• Perform system training for new users when new functionality is released.
• Negotiate and solicit engagement and support at all organizational levels and proactively ensure project outcomes remain on track.
• Ascertain technical business requirements and perspectives of stakeholders.
• Ensure activities and duties are carried out, adhering to regulatory requirements, enterprise wide risk management framework, and internal company policy and standards.
• Analyze large volumes of data to identify specific trends and insights and formulate product strategy.
• Articulate business outcomes, features, and elaborate on user stories to support teams in the delivery of functional requirements using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) technique and Agile Methodologies.
• Formulate minimum viable product definition including specification, vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Recommend optimal entry point into target market and associated release plan.
What we’re looking for:
Must have a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field and at least five (5) years of post baccalaureate progressive experience as a Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, Business Analyst, Software Developer/Engineer, or related occupation.
Must have at least one (1) year of employment experience with each of the following required skills: (1) UNIX for software development and support; (2) Production support; (3) Solutions Architecture for business process development and re-engineering; (4) Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies for analysis, design, development, implementation, support and enhancements; (5) Requirements Analysis and Solutions Development to translate business requirements into technical solutions and validate system outputs against requirements; (6) SQL Query to analyze and develop reports and perform requirements gathering; (7) Oracle for database management.
