What will you be doing?

•   Work across multiple phases of software development life cycle within a project to design, code, test and document large, complex software requirements for new or enhanced IT systems.
•   Provide technically sound solutions for the ingestion, storage and presentation of enterprise data including ETL design, data storage strategies, data access and security.
•   Setup requirement analysis meetings with the required application parties to go over and close out the open questions to finalize the requirement.
•   Prepare Business Requirement Document and Functional Specification Document based on requirements discussion.
•   Prepare the detailed design document with the coding components that would be developed based on the requirement.
•   Analyze and resolve Data lineage issues.

What we’re looking for:

Requires minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or closely related field and 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor’s experience in the position offered or as a Tech Lead, Application Developer, Software Engineer, or closely related position. In the alternative, will accept Master’s degree in specified fields and 2 years of experience in the specified occupations. Any suitable combination of education, experience or training is acceptable. Demonstrated experience must include:

•   Developing software at all levels of software delivery lifecycle (requirements gathering, design, testing, development, documentation, code review);
•   Utilizing Oraclae 12.2 database to create store and retrieve procedures and perform data migration tasks, including data extraction, transformation and loading;
•   Performing Ab initio server builds and administration of Ab initio Metadata Hub;
•   Utilizing Ab Initio ETL tools to design and develop graphs to process all incoming files from external vendors;
•   Utilizing UNIX and shell scripting to create files or scripts that support development of ETL database functions; and
•   Utilizing Test Driven Development (TDD) to produce high quality unit tested codes.
