What will you be doing?

• Perform data analysis to resolve problems impacting customers and resolve the issues to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Utilize R, Python and SAS to performing data manipulation and analysis
• Maintain operational DataMart’s with large volumes of marketing and reporting data while constantly evaluating for opportunities by applying performance engineering methodologies
• Identify Critical Data Elements associated with Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Key Risk Indicators (KRI) and record Data Lineage to authoritative golden sources (via automated technical lineage toolsets and business lineage) and catalogue business and technical data requirements.
• Implement inference and regression techniques into day-to-day development tasks
• Build and lead ETL function of sourcing data from multiple applications and streamline data for faster insights into portfolio performance
• Document and build high level and detailed current-state data architecture landscape of the various data domains such as Consumer Loans, Deposits, Marketing and Partnership
• Construct, evaluate and operationalize modeling algorithms and manipulate data as required for running monthly processes
• Translate models from experimentation into deployment and production within an enterprise environment

What we’re looking for:

Requires minimum of a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related technical discipline and 2 years of experience in the position offered or as a Programmer Analyst, Senior SAS Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, or closely related analytics position. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in specified fields and 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor’s experience in a position specified above. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. Demonstrated experience must include:
• Software development at all levels of software delivery lifecycle (requirements gathering, design, testing, development, documentation, and code review);
• Utilizing SAS, Python, SQL and R to perform development projects involving data manipulation and analysis;
• Utilizing advanced analytics software such as SAS and R to break down development problems and translate them into data-led solutions;
• Utilizing Big Data and data platforms and interfaces, such as Hadoop, HDFS, Hive and Impala, to support the company’s data analytics initiatives;
• Utilizing data process systems to develop code aligned to the specific business requirements;
• Utilizing Oracle PL-SQL, SQL Server, and Hadoop to perform data migration tasks, including data extraction, transformation and loading;
• Performing data controls validation and production alerting to ensure accuracy and quality of data being provided for operations; and
• Utilizing Rundeck, Cron, Autosys, SVN, and Bit Bucket to perform required scheduling automation jobs and version controls.
